Two things:

1) This post and all other posts for season 1 will assume that the person reading it has seen all the episodes up to the start of the episode. Any bits of information that were not in previous episodes and are in this one will be marked by (spoiler) (/spoiler).

2) Eeeeee! Sword!

Okay this episode looks a bit like it was designed to reintroduce some leftover plotlines from the end of season one (Haitian “erasing” Claire’s memory, Peter having visions of exploding) remind us of smaller plotlines from season 1 that now seem to be becoming more central(Hero’s sword, Theodore Sprague) and inroducing new plots (The invisible man (who is apparently named claude), and DL as a single dad). (spoiler)Throughout the episode, Claire talks with the Haitian about what all the stuff that has happened to her means, she then attempts to rekindle her friendship with Zach by having him re-videotape her jumping 80 feet.

Matt is shown with the police busting into Primatech paper co. to find Sylar, based on his mind reading abilities. They find paper, but no Sylar. Audry gets pissed at Matt, who leaves and goes home to (finally) talk w/ his wife.

DL is apparently not as good as niki at making penut butter sandwiches, but he gave the Money to Linderman’s thug to pay him off. Micah confesses he has an ability, but dosen’t specify what (it’s almost certainly Technopathy). Also, Niki/Jessica gets moved to a padded cell as Jessica Is “Breaking out” more, making her seem likeshe has MPD.
Meanwhile Mohinder has been trying to get the government to warn the people on The List that their live are in danger, without much success. He later gets a visit from Mr. Bennet, who wants the list, but Mohinder thinks he could be the one killing the people. He then finds out that Eden is dead (and apparently is actually named Sarah Ellis), and Mr. Bennet leaves him a buisness card.

Hiro finds his sword in the Museam of Natural History, but when he tries to stop time it just slows down instead, allowing him to steal the sword, which is revealed to be a fake. The replica was placed there courtesy of Linderman (This means Linderman has ties to all the main characters except Claire, Matt, and Ted). Issac shows up back at his apartment, where he meets Simone (they kiss )and Nathan who expresses an intrest in the exploding man painting because Peter had said that he was the explosion (”Fallout”). Hiro shows up and tells issac he needs to find a man called Linderman to get his sword. Nathan: “Did you say Linderman?” Hiro: (points at Nathan) “Flying man!”

:) best line in the episode!

They convince Simone of Issac’s powers by showing her the 9th Wonders comic book where hiro goes to New York. She gives him the painting of him fighting a dinosaur and the leave in hiro’s nissan versa for Vegas. Peter has also woken up (he spent most of the episode in a hospital bed sleeping) and left the hospital, on his way to the airport to catch a flight to Vegas, he sees a man calmly stealing out of people’s handbags right next to them. he chases after him and the man is surprised that he can see him. The knock over a street stand, but they are both invisible, with the episode ending with the invisible man (Claude) choking Peter.
New or Expanded Theories:

Linderman has a power (or powers) at least one of which is precognition. He also seems to be collecting things relating to the heros (Issac’s paintings (Simone said Linderman was interested in his paintings), Hiro’s Sword) but he could only know that those things would be importnt if he had precognition. This would also explain how he managed to get so much money (in vegas no less) and he most likely got his mob connections in the same way that Ando attracted the attention of the high roller in the episode collision, but instead of having the mobsters killed by Niki, he would be able to easily move up the ranks.
