I think this might just be the best episode so far this season.

First: Monica gets uber-props and is now number on the truly unique powers list, after the wonder twins powers(I’m counting their powers as one), the bliss and horror power that Guillame (The Haitian’s dad) had, Intuitive aptitude like Sylar has (more the ability to understand things instantly than the ability to steal others powers), and the liquification that Zane had. I wonder if she can copy powers this way as well. That would either be kickass or way overpowered. Entertaining either way. In any case it should be interesting to see another “Holy Cow! I have superpowers!” freakout subplot. I wonder if she is going to tell Micah? Hmm…

Claire…you should have just told him from the start, but in such a way that makes it clear that he’s not only not working for the company anymore but hiding from them. Now theres going to be all kinds of drama, and hiding and Noah is going to go to a game and expect to see Claire but she won’t be there.

Photograph! Parkman’s dad is the Nightmare Man! You know, if the seated woman on the left is Monica’s dead mom, then that provides a link to the whole Niki D.L. Micah thing, as they are surprisingly isolated on my imaginary relationship map; the only real connections they have are Linderman and Nathan (plus Matt, Molly, & Noah in the season 1 finale, but those barely count (hehe “Didn’t I throw you out of a window?” ahh, great line from Landslide in season 1), now where was I?). We also get the first actual look at Mr. Petrelli, not counting graphic novels, albeit a blurred shot from the side. I wonder if obscured grey-haired guy is someone we’ve already seen (the guy 12 man in the picture that stays out of shot, or behind Nathan’s hand the whole time), but I figure either that guy or the mustached man is Adam Monroe. (UPDATE: just checked on the Heroes wiki, and they put in a more detailed shot of the grey haired guy but he doesn’t look familiar.)

I just realized this is the first ever episode of Heroes that doesn’t have Hiro in it.

That makes me a little sad.

It does make Claire the only Character to have been in every episode though.
