Okay I’ll admit that I admit that I knew that someone was going to die this season, and partway through the episode i thought i knew who it was. I also had figured that Simone’s key to Issac’s apartment would play some role in this, but i had it totally reversed. I had figured that now that Issac had that particular gun (the same kind Eden used to commit suicide, and that was found in Issac’s apartment by Hiro in the future), at some point Sylar would try to kill him and would get into the apartment using Simone’s key which he stole from her, leaving the scene for Hiro to find. Simone, however was the one killed. That kinda threw me off, and downright proves that Peter’s vision was not true, since she was there in the vision. Issac was there as well before, but because of Hiro’s visit to the future we knew at that point that either Hiro has changed the future since the visit, or Peter’s vision was inaccurate. At this point that either A)both were wrong B)Peter’s vision was wrong but the future hasn’t changed (unlikely), or C) Simone is not actually dead yet, because the bullet missed the vital organs and the hospital will save her (most likely, but ruins our fun).
Interesting new theory regarding Ted Sprague: you know how way back in the beginning we thought that Peter had the power to fly, but it turned out that he was just absorbing the power from Nathan? If these tracking device things are radioactive, then what if Ted doesn’t have innate radioactivity powers, but instead is absorbing them from the tracking device? This would mean that Peter isn’t the cause of the bomb unless he gets implanted as well (and the radioactive isotope affects him in the same way as well)
Claire is finally starting to play hardball with her dad, and he really does deserve it. The issue with Ted and Matt could turn out to be very interesting, but knowing NBC, we’ll just end up with even more questions.
Regarding Hiro and Ando: Hiro may have sent Ando home, but while Peter’s vision does show him as being in the city when Peter explodes, said vision has not proven to be reliable, so it’s not a good idea to think that Ando will come back to rejoin Hiro because of the vision. If he comes back, it’s going to be because Hiro has made Ando believe in destiny, or because Ando thinks that Hiro really needs his help, maybe to keep him grounded and down to earth.
Also: five bucks says that Sylar is going to slip up and let Mohinder know he isn’t Zane, and it’s going to happen because he absorbed Dale’s super hearing and with it the headaches.
