Don´t you think it would be only logical that Petrelli SR did not comited suicide but died from something related to super powers or sometinhg like that and that probably Angela Petrelli has some kind of power too... wich would explain her connection to the Haitian and her knowing it all about Claire being Nathan´s daughter... Don´t know if I made sense but... just a thought!!!
