Okay lots of wacky fun going on in this episode: Jessica goes “hunting”, Ando acts the hero, and Claire comes within 5 feet of meeting Nathan. No Peter or Claude in this episode, and I was wondering how Peter had taken to being punched in the face. Oh well. Standard spoilerific goodies follow.

Hiro and Ando meet up w/ a girl in the back rooms of Linderman’s hotel. Hero had just been talking about hope (the concept) and it turns out the girl is named Hope. She talks about the guy she had been dating, how he hits her, and how she left her bag up in his room. They sneak into his room and find the bag, but Ando gets stuck under the bed with it. Hiro goes down to talk to Hope, who reveals herself to have less than honorable intentions and locks him in a storage closet. Ando makes it back to Hope who drags him off to a town called Primm, where her mom supposedly lives. Hiro gets let out of the closet by the evil boyfriend, who apparently works for the Nevada gaming commission. Hiro, being the total nerd that we all love, flashes the Vulcan salute and says “I come in peace.” Major geek points there Hiro, but that’s normal for you.

Matt reveals he has decided to act as a bodyguard for hire, which will work out fantabulously (hehe made up words) since Jessica has gone to work for Linderman as an assassin, and they both have the same assignment. Yay! Said assignment manages to purchase $2 million worth of diamonds, with money he stole from Linderman, but Jessica managed to kill him and knock out Matt. The diamonds were hidden, but Matt manages to find them, but doesn’t show the police officer that was investigating the death of diamond guy, b/c the cop makes fun of Matt in his head. Silly cop.

Claire learns that Mrs. Bennet has been having memory issues and headaches, bad enough to go to the neurologist for. Someone has been abusing someone else’s power on yet another someone somewhat too much(for those of you with low wisdom scores, I mean that HRG has used the Haitian’s power on Mrs. Bennet). Claire, Nathan, and Meredith all have a wacky fun not entirely clear conversation that I still don’t quite get what went on, but the gist of it is that Nathan is guilty for not being there for the last 14 years (you can’t blame him though, he did think they were dead), Meredith is extorting money from Nathan in exchange for not mentioning Claire’s existence to the press just before the election. Could be a bit problematic, considering he campaigned on family values.

Finally, Mohinder gets a call back from one of the people on the list he has been contacting, a Zane Taylor, who desperately needs to talk to Mohinder in person. As Mohinder heads to Virgina, Sylar shows up at Zane’s house claiming to be Mohinder, he kills Zane and takes his power so that when Mohinder shows up, he can pretend to be Zane and does. After showing Mohinder his ability to liquefy objects by touching them, without applying heat, he asks if he can join Mohinder in his whole warn the world thing. Mohinder agrees, thinking that Zane could easily show proof of the powers (he has several melted objects sitting around his apartment). However in a preview during Deal or No Deal, which was on just before Heroes, we see Mohinder and Sylar/Zane talking to a women who has super-hearing, and who get suspicious of Sylar/Zane when his heart rate goes up. Could be interesting!
